(“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) in the following cases collects personal information from users (“you”, “your”) when the user using the services on this or other website we operated, and when using our mobile or desktop applications (collectively, the “Service” and “Services”). This Privacy Policy describes also our use and disclosure of such information.

Deepmoo is the data controller (i.e. the company responsible and in control of the processing of your personal information) for the purposes of EU data protection laws ("Data Protection Legislation").

What is the purpose of this Privacy Policy?

This Privacy Policy discloses our personal information collection and dissemination practices related to the Services. Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal information and how we will treat it. What information do we collect?

This section describes the types of personal information we may collect about you. We use the personal information we collected to perform our obligations from contract between you and us, and to provide you the Services you requested from us.

Cookies are either deleted from your computer or mobile device at the end of every session or retained for a longer period of time. Therefore, we use cookies to distinguish you from other users of our services, which help us provide personalized experience when you use the services, and allows us to better understand how you use the services. For example, we use cookies to keep you login to Deepmoo Cloud and to protect your account. We also use cookies for analytical purposes to better understand how you use the Services and to provide the best user experience.

In addition, please note that third party web sites (“Third-Party Sites”) that may be linked to from the Service may set cookies or other methods to passively collect information about your use of their services, Third-Party Sites, or contents. We do not have rights to access or control over these third-party passive data collection methods.

Collection and processing of sensitive information:

This Service does not collect or process “sensitive information”, defined as information consisting of racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, or trade union membership, genetic data, biometric data, health-related data or information related to the health of a natural person, sex life or sexual orientation. Accordingly, you should not provide any such information as part of your user profile, or as part of any communication, when you upload image, or by any other means with your use of the Services.

How we use your personal information?

Contact and account information: We use your contact and account information to enable us to provide a secure and personalized service. We also use your personal information to improve our Services, to provide you with information about other goods and services we offer and similar to those you have purchased or inquired, or to notify you of the changes to our Services.

Payment and transaction information: We use this information to facilitate transactions, detect and prevent fraud, and save your purchasing records, so that we can provide customer service and warranty service for you, and for financial purpose as required by law. We do not process your credit card information directly, but this information will be processed by one or more third-party payment processors.

Online query and communications: We use the personal information you provided to communicate with you about your queries and fulfill other requests. If you provide your phone number, we may use that information and make direct dial calls, autodialed, and prerecorded message calls, and send text messages related to our Products and Services from Deepmoo. If you communicate with us by email or mail in writing, we may store the information you submitted in a specific way for you, such as in electronic files that indicating you as the sender.

Image storage and processing: We use the images you uploaded to Deepmoo Cloud to provide the Services you subscribed. If personal information is captured in an image uploaded to Deepmoo Cloud, and you have chosen to publicly display basic images through the Services, then this information may be displayed publicly. If you do not want to publicly display the personal information depicted in your image submitted, you should avoid capturing such personal information in your images, or set the generated 3D model to “disabled mode” in your Deepmoo Cloud account. You are responsible for any personal information depicted in the images. If you object to the processing described in this Privacy Policy, you should refrain from capturing any personal information in image.

URL, IP address, device information and frequency of use: We use this personal information to better understand how often you use the Services, how long you actively use the Service, and the patterns of actions you take when using the Services. We also track the URL you visited before using our Services, the URL you visit in next, and information about the browser you used to access the Services, and your Internet Protocol (IP) address. We use this information to manage and improve our Services, to help diagnose problems in our Services, and to better understand your use of the Services. Your IP address can also be used to help identify you and gather broad location and demographic information.

Location data: When using the Services, we fill the address of the location being scanned with location data automatically. We also use location data to assist in processing image data and to better understand the inter-relationship between multiple scanning locations. We also use location data to provide aggregated analytics to better understand how and where the Services are used, to provide customized and localized experience when using the Services, and to block the access to Services in case required by law.

Direct marketing

We may contact you from time to time to provide information about our Products and Services. Most marketing information will be sent via email. For some marketing information, we may use the personal information we collected about you to help determine the most relevant marketing information to share with you. In most cases, we handle your personal information data for marketing purpose is based on our legitimate interests in providing you the information about our current and future Products, Services, and events.

If you do not want to receive our marketing information, you can tell us by checking certain boxes on the form we used to first collect your contact details. If you receive our marketing email, you may unsubscribe at any time according to the instructions included in the emails. You may also opt out from receiving our marketing email, or any other promotional information (for example, by postal mail) we may send you from time to time by emailing us your request to email address support@deepmoovr.com, or write to us at the address provided in “Contact Us” section of this Privacy Policy. In addition, please note that if you select not receive our marketing email, it may take us up to 10 business days to process your opt out request, and you may still receive our marketing emails during this period. Additionally, even you have selected opt out our marketing information, you will continue to receive our administrative and transactional information about your use of the Services.

Where do we process your personal information?

International transfers of your personal information. As we are located in Singapore, any information you provided will initially be collected, processed and stored in Singapore. If you are in the EU or the European Economic Area, this may mean your personal information will be stored in a jurisdiction that offers a certain level of protection, which in some circumstance, may be less protective of your personal information than in the jurisdiction you normally reside.

How do we use online analytics services and customized online marketing?

In our Services, we use Google Analytics and other third-party web analytics services. These third-party services use the technologies described in previous sections to help us analyze how users use the Services, including recording the URL user visited before access our Services. These service providers will receive or directly collect information collected through this technologies, which will be used to evaluate your use of the Services. As described in the following paragraphs, we also use Google Analytics with the Services for some purposes related to online marketing. Automated decision-making and profiling

Automated decision making refers to a decision that is taken solely on the basis of automated processing of your personal data, for example using software, artificial intelligence or other rating or scoring algorithms. Profiling use automated processing which sometimes results in automated decision making, and in some cases does not.

When you sign up to use the Services, we may use certain personal information (e.g. your first name, last name, address and IP address) to verify you are eligible to use the Services and to restrict your access if you are not, for example, if you are resident in a country or region that is subject to Singapore government embargo. We will also restrict access by use of automated decision-making and profiling to anyone on or, directly or indirectly, owned, in whole or part, by any person or persons on the Singapore Treasure Department’s List of Special Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons or any other Singapore government list of parties with respect to transactions that are forbidden or restricted.

How do we protect your personal information?

We take measures to help protect your data, including your personal information. The steps include protecting this data against accidental loss, unauthorized use, disclose, and restricting access to personal information by our staff. The Service is hosted by third-party hosting company that we have determined maintains various security controls and utilizes TLS encryption for all internet communication with the Service. We also require all staff that administer and develop the service follow a series of controls, including strong passwords, the use of anti-virus and anti-malware software, disk encryption and other practices.

We use various third party processor to enable us to provide the Services, and as part of our vendor due-diligence, we review the security control measures these processors have adopted appropriately in relation to the type of data we collect.

However, you should keep in mind that the Services utilize software, hardware and networks, which from time to time require maintenance, and will experience problems beyond our control. Note that no data transmission over the public internet or encryption method can guarantee 100% secure. How long do we retain personal information?

What is our policy on deletion of personal information?

Users can request through support to delete the personal (PII) data at any time. To exercise the access and deletion rights described above, the account owner should submit a verifiable consumer request to us using the information in the “Contact us” section.

For our records, we may retain original and updated information for reason such as technical constraints, dispute resolution, troubleshooting, and agreement enforcement.

You have the right to access personal information about you. We may request a fee to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you, as permitted by law. We may decline to process requests that are frivolous, vexatious, jeopardize the privacy of others, are extremely impractical, or not otherwise required by local law.

This Privacy Policy only addresses the use and disclosure of personal information collected from you by Deepmoo. You should be aware that when you are using the Services, you may also use or be directed to other websites, applications or services of third parties that are beyond our control, and Deepmoo is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties or the content of their websites, applications or services. We encourage you to read the posted privacy policy whenever interacting with any third party website, application or service.

Updates to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do so, we will also revise the “last updated” date at the beginning of the Policy. Your continued use of our Services after such changes will be subject to then-current policy. If we have key changes on this Policy, we will use reasonable efforts to notify you via the contact methods you have provided of the change prior to date the change becomes effective. We encourage you to periodically review this Privacy Policy to keep informed about how we collect, use and disclose personal information.

What is our policy on children users of the Services?

We do not knowingly collect or maintain personal information from persons under 16 years old. Our Services are intended for use by a general audience, and no part of our Services is directed to children under 16. If Deepmoo learns that personal information of children under 16 has been collected without verifiable parental consent, then Deepmoo will take the appropriate steps to delete this information. If you are a parent or guardian, and discover that your child under the age of 16 has obtained an account on the Services or otherwise provided us with personal information without your consent, then you may alert Deepmoo at the address below and request us to delete that child’s personal information from our system.
